Five W’s for a Short-Notice Meeting

1. Why—If folks don’t know why, their imagination will get the best of them.
2. Who—Make sure you talk to each one.
3. Where—A short-notice meeting is not on the normal schedule, so the where is unknown.
4. When—When you start checking on who will attend, you usually have two or three possible times. Let everyone know what the final where and when is.
5. What—How do they need to be prepared? Keep a short-notice meeting as short as possible.
