Never List
Develop your own never list. A manager should take the time to list things he would never do or say. This is an always growing list and is the result of trial and error. Groups, friends, and companies can put together a list that each individual agrees should be on the Never List. Listed below are a few examples of what could be added to your never list.
1. Never act like you know the whole story.
2. Never use your position as the reason to do something.
3. Never lie.
4. Never say, “Never mind.”
5. Never assume that easy things will be easy.
6. Never yell.
7. Never take care of problems with e-mail.
8. Never get emotionally attached to your idea.
