Not Everything Given to Me Is for Me
- In our early years, our parents give us everything we need to live. Eventually God gives a person more than he needs for the purpose of him giving and helping others; this transition needs to happen early in life.
- Looking out for what others need and how to be a help is part of growing into a mature Christian.
- When we get more than we need, we very easily expand our “need” list to require all that we have. As God blesses our life, we must become good stewards of the extra.
For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed
unto him again? For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
Romans 11:34–36
