Devotionals & Websites, etc.
We have never offered a listing of website resources for our readers. To be honest with you, I am scared to death about offering website resources — fearful that some but not all of the website is biblically accurate, fearful that Bible versions used may upset some, and fearful that we have not fully researched and studied the website to be able to qualify its presence in our idea share. All of these fearful thoughts and concerns have surfaced in the last month. We have received many ideas from ladies about helpful websites for ladies in ministry. We cannot publish all of them in this edition. From time to time, we will share these resources with you; but we ask you to exercise a discerning heart and mind as you use these resources. The cliché, “don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater” when used to say, “don’t throw a good resource out because of one issue” only goes so far in my opinion — which means that we will work very hard to publish ideas that are helpful and not divisive or questionable in doctrine.
